ATS Tribal Broadband Training: Tribal Library Enhancement Program (TLEP) and E-Rate Funding

April 8 @ 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm

Join Member Relations Manager of Alaska Tribal Spectrum (ATS), Maver Carey, to learn about the Tribal Library Enhancement Program (TLEP) and E-Rate Funding.

Alaska Tribal Spectrum (ATS) is currently working on the logistics for over 40 of our Tribal members who chose ATS to provide a Tribal Library Enhancement Program (TLEP) via the Treasury Capital Projects Grant program. Each library will be assisted to become officially certified, which qualifies them for future E-Rate funding. Each library location will also receive wireless broadband infrastructure and services.

The TLEP provides an educational Wi-Fi network protected by an educational firewall for up to 12 months of priority service for the selected library building. The program also provides a mobile data component. Each TLEP community will be able to utilize the library to do videoconferencing, attend online classes or training, surf the web and access videos, work on grants or any other educational activity. In addition, tribes may choose to receive library furniture including computers and peripherals. Once officially certified, each tribe will be assisted to participate in the E-rate program for sustainment of the library network.

Installations for the infrastructure are beginning mid-April and will continue through the summer and fall of 2024.

Register to attend on April 8th at 2pm by clicking below. You will receive an email with details and a link to attend the webinar.
